Rob Ford Hits Bottom And I Mean That He Hit The Bottom on the eve of International Women’s Day.

Rob Ford: Sarah Thomson wants apology after accusing Toronto mayor of inappropriate touch

Former mayoral candidate Sarah Thomson says she wants an apology from Mayor Rob Ford for touching her inappropriately and making a suggestive remark. She says she felt like “decking” the mayor, and was shocked the incident would happen on the eve of International Women’s Day.
Ford's office did not issue an immediate response but officials out of the mayor’s office immediately cast doubt upon the incident, which Thomson posted to her Facebook page Thursday night. In a 2:30 a.m. email, a Ford official who requested anonymity expressed strong skepticism about the allegations without rejecting them.
Thomson said she went up to the mayor at event held by Canadian Jewish Public Affairs Committee, asking the Ford why he wasn’t at earlier event.
“He told me he was in Florida and I should have been with him because his wife wasn’t there,” Thomson told the Star Friday. “I didn’t expect that. Rob doesn’t normally act that way towards women, so I was a little bit shocked and then we posed to get our picture taken and he grabbed my assed during the pose.
“I kind of went this is unbelievable. I was shocked and walked away and told few people and they kind of went up to his handlers and said, ‘lets get him out of here, there’s something off with him,’” Thomson said.
“At first thought, oh he’s just treating me like one of the guys, you know you should have come down and have some beers. Then wife comment kind of threw me. And then when he grabbed my ass I realized, hold it, no no, he’s going the other way with this. So, to me it was wrong and you got to say something,” Thomson said.
She went home and posted the incident to her Facebook page.
“Thought it was a friendly hello to Toronto Mayor Rob Ford at the CJPAC Action Party tonight until he suggested I should have been in Florida with him last week because his wife wasn't there,” Thomson wrote in a late-night post on her Facebook page. “Seriously wanted to punch him in the face. Happy International Women's Day!”
In a comment on a photo of herself with Ford, she said, “Guess where his hand was in this picture? I must go shower.” She added: “Is grabbing someone ass assault (sic)?”
Three members of Ford’s team, the official said, were within earshot of Ford and Thomson and did not hear him make such a comment to her. Ford’s wife, the official said, was actually with him in Florida. And the official said Thomson “was smiling and appeared happy throughout” the interaction.
Thomson was smiling in the photo; Ford’s eyes were closed and his mouth open. Thomson, in another comment on the Facebook thread, said she has “never seen him so out of it.”
“I know I shouldn’t be pissed but after spending 10 months on the campaign trail together you expect a little bit of respect at the very least for my husband,” she said.
Ford was spotted at a Pearson airport check-in counter last Wednesday with his wife, Renata, and two young children. He told a CityNews crew that he was taking his family to Disney World.
