Armed Robbery & Double Shooting At TD Bank In Toronto West End

CBC - Toronto police are investigating an armed robbery and double-shooting that occurred at a west-end bank.
The robbery occurred just after noon at a TD Bank branch on St. Clair Avenue West, just west of Runnymede Road.
Two people were shot — one outside the bank, the other inside.
Police say both victims have been taken to hospital.
After the shooting, blood could be seen on a car and the ground outside the bank.
Several forensics officers have been dispatched to the scene, according to a tweet from Det.-Const. Bradley Donais.
Investigators are also speaking with people who were inside the bank. They will also be reviewing surveillance footage.

Two people shot and wounded during bank robber
CP24 -
At least two suspects are being sought after a woman and man were shot and wounded during a bank robbery Sunday afternoon, Toronto police say.
According to witnesses, the double shooting occurred after two male suspects entered a TD Canada Trust branch, at 2555 St. Clair Ave. W., shortly before 12:30 p.m. and ordered employees and customers to get on the floor.
"A bunch of us got down. One guy wouldn’t and an altercation started," said a customer who was inside the bank when the suspects entered.

Moments later, a woman suffered a gunshot wound during the altercation inside the building, located near Runnymede Road.
As the suspects fled, a man chased the pair outside and was shot and wounded.
According to police, the man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
"Basically, the guy, he chased them out there. The bravest guy I’ve ever met in my life," the witness told CP24. "And then he ended up getting shot out in the parking lot."
The suspects fled in a vehicle after the man was shot. Both victims were taken to hospital by paramedics.
One of the victims is a bank employee, a TD Canada Trust spokesperson told CP24.
It is not known if the suspects got away with any cash. Witnesses said a dye pack exploded as the suspects fled. Banknotes that appeared to be stained with dye were seen on the ground after the incident.
Investigators are looking for at least two suspects, who are described as black males who may be in their 20's.
The males fled the scene in a dark-coloured hatchback that was previously reported stolen, police told CP24 reporter Jackie Crandles.
The males were wearing dark clothing, including hoodies, police said.
Later, police descended on a neighbourhood near Jane Street and Weston Road, as they searched for the suspects.
