Pro tip for attackers: Don't show up to get treated at the same hospital as the victims

Man charged in Jersey City attack after showing up at same hospital as victims: cops

A Jersey City man was charged in an assault after he showed up to be treated at the same hospital as the victims last night, police said.
Two brothers, both of Jersey City, were walking on Orient Avenue between Martin Luther King Drive and Rose Avenue at 6:15 p.m. when they were attacked by three men, police were told by the victims' sisters. Both men were struck with a wooden object -- one was also stabbed in the neck -- and brought to the Jersey City Medical Center, police said.

When Edward McNeill Jr., 40, of Jersey City, walked into the JCMC, he was quickly identified as the man who wielded the wooden object, police said, and he was arrested by police who were there interviewing the victims.
McNeill was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.
During the assault, a second man with long dreadlocks came up behind one of the brothers and cut the left side of his neck with a knife, reports state.
