Toronto Police Investigating Numerous Break & Enters &Theft In Toronto West End

Police investigating multiple overnight breaks-in in the west end

Toronto Police are looking into a series of break-ins in the Bloor Street West and Islington Avenue area of Etobicoke.
They’re not releasing a lot of details on what happened to prevent compromising the case, an officer at 22 Division told 680News.
Reports say there were a total of 7 break-ins at 5 homes, a business and a school.
Police aren’t confirming that – and it’s not clear at this time if the same suspect is responsible for all of them.
Officers say around 11 p.m. Saturday, a man walked into a Mac’s Convenience Store on Martin Grove Road and demanded cash from an employee at gunpoint.
Then just after 2 a.m. on Sunday, a family awoke to find a man in their home near Islington Ave. and Bloor St. W.
It’s not yet clear if he took anything before he fled.
Soon after, there was a break-in at Humber Valley Village Junior Middle School on Hartfield Road near Islington Avenue and Dundas Street West.
The thief made off with an iPhone and a laptop.
There are no reports of any injuries, and so far police have not linked any of the robberies.
