You Could Be Famous As Your Face May Soon Appear on Google Ad’s

(INTELLIHUB) — Google’s most recent update to their terms and service breaks-down how Google Plus users may find their profile name and photos appearing on advertisements and product reviews once the terms go live on November 11, 2013.
“We want to give you – and your friends and connections – the most useful information. Recommendations from people you know can really help. So your friends, family and others may see your Profile name and photo, and content like the reviews you share or the ads you +1’d. This only happens when you take an action (things like +1’ing, commenting or following) – and the only people who see it are the people you’ve chosen to share that content with.”[1]
Google explains that, “Feedback from people you know can save you time and improve results for you and your friends across all Google services, including Search, Maps, Play and in advertising.”
Only Adults that 18 years or older will be targets for the program and will have option of opting out.
This advertising “enhancement” technique mirrors the move Facebook took back in August of this year where the social network giant announced that it would gather users personal information and content to use in advertisements and sponsorships without any consent. [2]
