Girl, 13, among 3 found slain at 2 Quebec crime scenes

SAINTE-CROIX, Que. - The Quebec police say there is a family link between two murder scenes near Quebec City where a girl, 13, and two adults have been found dead, and another adult and child are in hospital in critical condition.
At 8:45 p.m. Saturday, police found two bodies at a home in Sainte-Croix, Que. They were identified as Benoit Daigle, 39, and Nancy Samson, 44, who were married.
In 2010, a Facebook page attributed to Daigle was created to denounce accusations of sexual abuse brought by two children.
Around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, police were called to a home in Saint-Isidore, Que., about 30 minutes south of Quebec City. There they discovered Medora Godin, 13, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were found also at the scene -- Medora's sister Beatrice, 11, and the girls' father Martin Godin, 54.
Both were taken to hospital and are in critical condition.
Samson is the mother of the two girls and ex wife of Martin Godin.
"The bodies showed signs of trauma," police spokesperson Richard Gagne said. Sources have told QMI Agency that the victims suffered gunshot wounds.
