Two injured following shooting at York University Last night - Classes Resume Today

Classes at York University are going ahead as scheduled today after two women were injured in a shooting at the Keele Street campus.
One woman was shot in the leg and a second was hit by “shrapnel” when someone opened fire in a food court in the university’s student centre late Thursday night, said Toronto police spokesman Const. Victor Kwong.
Both women suffered non-life-threatening injuries and it appears they were not the intended targets, Kwong told CP24.
A lockdown went into effect after the shooting occurred at about 10:45 p.m. and it was lifted around 1 a.m.
In a security bulletin issued early (Friday) this morning, the university advised students that the campus had been given the OK to resume normal operations.
Police are looking for the suspect, who took off after the shooting.
So far, police have a limited description of the person, who is black and five-foot-eight to six feet tall, and was wearing black clothing, Kwong said.
