One man is arrested after multiple people were stabbed at an office building complex in North York Toronto

TORONTO – A man is in custody after multiple people were stabbed at an office building complex in North York Wednesday morning.
The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. on the fifth floor of 4110 Yonge Street near Highway 401 and York Mills Road.
Police tell Global News three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries, one victim via an emergency run.
Police say the suspect attacked the victims with either a knife or scissor and was arrested at the scene.
One witness outside the building said police and ambulances arrived quickly.
“They were running, you know something was a little bit off,” said Steve. “They had their shotguns out so they were moving.”
“I saw them bring somebody down in handcuffs. They took him out of there pretty fast.”
The building is owned by Cadillac Fairview.
