BeN iLLa was born & raised in Sioux City Iowa, a student of Hip Hop, BeN connected with super producer E. Smitty in 2013, since then Smitty has signed BeN to his ent firm & the two are currently putting the finishing touches on a classic hip hop album for 2015 which features the likes of Wise Intelligent, Sadat-X, Futuristic & Kool G Rap, The album will be in stores late March of 2015, 2 more singles will be released within that time period.  "Trouble Maker" contains a sample of the late great 2pac from the OG classic "So much Pain" off the "Above The Rim SoundTrack"  BeN iLLa touches the struggles of growing up & being labeled as a trouble maker in his early youth.  He also touches on the subjects of unity and racial equality, Word another fellow Sioux City Emcee helps out on the 2nd verse giving warning to consequences of choosing a criminal life.  This record was inspired completely from 2pac's concepts of real life struggle & over-coming adversity with the will to survive.  A breathe of fresh air from the constant propaganda of negative rap thats droned into our heads daily by the mainstream.  Make sure you keep up with BeN iLLa, social media links below.
