25 Year Old Arrested In Connection With Toronto Chinatown Shooting Spree

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in downtown Toronto’s Chinatown district that claimed the lives of two people two weeks ago.
The suspect has been identified as Kyle Sparks-Mackinnon who was arrested on yesterday without incident.
He has been charged with two counts of second degree murder and three counts of attempted murder.
David Eminess, 26, and Quinn Taylor, 29, who were both fatally shot outside New Ho King Restaurant at Spadina Avenue and Nassau Street around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31.
Investigators say both victims were involved in an altercation with the suspect just prior to the shooting which also injured three others.
