A Toronto man has been charged with 20 different firearm and drug-related charges after a drug trafficking investigation in the area of Danforth and Greenwood Avenues, Toronto police say.
Police say the 29-year-old man was seen trafficking drugs in the area between May and August 2016.
When they arrested him on Friday, he was allegedly in possession of a loaded semi-automatic firearm and unknown quantity of drugs.
His charges include possession of a substance for trafficking purposes, possession of a firearm knowing the serial number has been tampered with, possession of a loaded, prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, and failure to comply with recognizance.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
